I finally got around to replacing my old furnace this week, and it's amazing how much warmer the house feels already. The installation crew had to haul the old unit out of the basement and fit the new one through a narrow doorway, which took some careful maneuvering. They spent a full day running new ductwork connections and wiring up the thermostat. The new system is much quieter than the clunky one I had before, and I'm hoping it will cut down on my heating bills this winter. It's a messy job…
